Did a sous vide cook on another chuck roast. Thirty hours at 135F. Not quite as tender as that brisket was but it was tender for a chuck. Green beans, mashed potatoes, carrots and asparagus for the sides. Banana pudding for desert. Fairly decent it was....
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

Always meant to attempt a sous vide... brother swears by them but I'm a bit funny cooking in plastic...

My brother made a steak for me one time with one, and then seared it. Fuckin' hell it was perfect!



But yeah, now that they say plastic particles shrink your peepee I dont know about all that either lol.
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.
