Obama was in many ways the bridge too far that prompted many leftists to abandon any remaining hopes that the democrat party could be an ally, much less reformed from within. He was undeniable proof that the democrats were everything liberals claimed to oppose: corrupt, hypocritical, warmongering, and entirely disinterested in serving people instead of donors, corporations, and imperialism. Time and time again (the health care bait-n-switch, the crashing economy and Occupy Wall Street, Standing Rock, Libya, the drone murder program, Flint's poisoned water, etc.) Obama did things that should have made the democrats' liberal base furious but instead he was protected and idolized.

Instead of rolling back any of Bush's insanity like the laughingly named Patriot Act Obama preserved and extended the executive branch's authoritarian trajectory. For that alone people, in a sane world, should spit whenever they mention his name.

Dystopian hellscapes don't appear out of thin air; they have to be approached one maliciously surreptitious step at a time otherwise people might see where they're being led and resist. Obama's strides were as effective as they were reprehensible and the fact that he's *still* celebrated by democrats and their apologists is a damning indictment of that party and its supporters.

What really baffles me is people of color in democrat controlled hellscapes like Baltimore and Chicago celebrating this fraud like he was some wonderful savior to their race.

when in fact he did absolutely NOTHING for the black community despite there being no excuse whatsoever to NOT effect change in these areas.

For 2 out of his 8 years in office he had ZERO resistance in a pathway to effect positive change in these areas as his party controlled everything at every level from the Feds all the way on down to the lunch lady at the local school district.

So why didn't he do something, anything, for these people of his in these communities with such a golden opportunity at his finger tips? Because he doesn't give the first fuck about the black community. they are merely useful tools who's calamities can be very advantageous in achieving the democrat ultimate goals
