An Ode to one of the toughest, funniest and overall best in class this game had to offer.

Caskur.

At one point or another in the past 20 plus years we've all crossed paths with Caskur. And whether she was a friend or a foe you'd be lying if you said she wasn't a pillar in our dwindling community.

Funny, opinionated, witty, spirited, intelligent, compassionate and tough as nails.

Hella Tough as nails.

I don't think I've seen any other absorb as many attacks as she did and still maintain their composure and dedication to the unwritten rules of the game. She knew our craft and played the game well.

To me she will always be remembered as the Grandma of Flaming/Trolling, someone you could lock horns with publicly and laugh about the jabs privately.

A true luminary on these boards and will be missed sorely.

Awwww... I am saddened to hear about Caskur's passing :'( I didn't know her personally, but she was ALWAYS a great read, no matter the topic. She was funny AF and fierce as hell.

I always enjoyed her pictures of birds and, of course, her chops that were so, so, funny!

Caskur and I could go from trading photoshopping tips to trading insults sometimes in the same damn poast.

We were never close like she was with Flea and some others but Caskur could be fun to trade the occasional barb with and I hope she felt the same about me.

Good journey Caskur; good rest.

 Of course, everytime one of us shakes off our mortal coil....i always need to know why.

 Sad. I wasnt expecting this so soon and now that i think about it, i havent "seen" her around much.

 She knew i loved her photos so she would always tag me when she posted them in her photography group.

 RIP, Flame Granny. I really wanted to tell her i rescued a pigeon, and how wrong she was to call me a "pigeon" like it was an insult because pigeons are amazing.

I always got on well with Caskur.  We chatted here and there across all these forums.  She was always about somewhere.  Never really troalled on her over anything, but I did "run-in" on a Flaming Match she was in one time at CO and she scolded me for it.

We will miss her soul on our dwindling forums.

I always called Caskur my Southern Sister lol. She loved my homeland, the South. She loved the Old South. She understood the hardships my ancestors endured. She told me to watch Gone With the Wind, and I did, but she said the book was WAY better, and so now I must read it.

All my Aussie friends loved the South lol.

She was also a fellow chopper, and she could wit with the best.

Sad to say, but farewell Southern Soldier....

What was the cause of death? Cas was overweight, but she seemed to live a healthy active lifestyle.
