Governments oughta work with corporations and wealthy individuals to set up investor accounts, particularly for low income Biggie. Maybe something like trading accounts with $1000 deposited in them. Especially with the onset of AI and its displacement of workers and downward pressure on their  incomes.

This would allow the capitalist system to have liquidity and cash flow so it can continue to thrive and grow. Because without consumers, the economy will stall and might eventually die if there's no money being spent by displaced workers because of AI. The population no matter how poor has to be able to participate. Otherwise, there's no game and the economy will eventually die.

BTW, this isn't a 'socialist' idea or program since a pilot program was launched by the Trump administration for new born children with $1000 investor accounts in the States. I think they call them Trump accounts and they are partially funded by ultra capitalist billionaires Michael Dell and Ray Dalio

So if Elon wants consumers to buy his cars, it can put money back in their pockets if they own company shares, especially if they pay dividends. Maybe every year $100 could be deposited in lower income earners investment accounts so they can keep on buying stocks and investing in local businesses.

And businesses or wealthy individuals who donate to such programs would get tax breaks putting more money back in their pockets. win win really.

While I'm no fan of Trump, I admit this is one good thing he's done for Americans.

Canada and other wealty Western nations should do the same.

A friend of mine recently got duped by an AI get-rich-quick video of Elon Musk and our Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese.
He lost around 450K, most of which was his retirement , to crypto currency fraud.

I looked at the video and could see all the telltale signs of AI script, but he's in his 70's and thought that the video was quite convincing at the time.

AI is really causing havoc with the computer illiterate these days.

If the Elites want an economy that grows, they should distribute shares to the masses, so it doesn't shrivel up. Otherwise, the economy will eventually die if nobody has jobs because AI. The masses need  money to spend to buy the products from companies owned by the Elites.
