Yes he is. I had heard of but never seen the hammer dulcimer being played (go figure). Lots of his vids on youtube and facebook getting attention now.

Yes he is. I had heard of but never seen the hammer dulcimer being played (go figure). Lots of his vids on youtube and facebook getting attention now.

The dulcimer is an instrument that goes back to before the middle ages. They  are popular at Renn Faires. I've seem my share of amazing players and.....not so amazing players.

The first time I saw one was in the 4th grade. My nasty nun of a teacher had a butch friend that owned one. The shemale also claimed to be able to play the damn thing too. But to the ears of a 10 year old in a starched skirt who had to sit thru the freaking demonstration, I think she lied to us.



Who knows maybe my tie was too tight and it was cutting off the circulation to my ears but I remember sitting there thinking to myself .....this thing sounds like.....shit.  



Thank God I didn't have access to any sharp objects. I probably would have jumped up out of my seat and cut the fucken strings.
