Renee, I used to like RHCP a lot more they followed up Blood Sugar Sex Magic... with what I'll call their current sound. I think they need the dichotomy of Flea and John Frusciante to be at their best.



Priscilla, I love the Scorpions! I tend to forget about all the great music they've made since they aren't much in the public eye anymore, but they're truly a great band.

I liked the "Contraband" album but "Libertad", not so much. I think Scott Weiland writes better music when he's fucked up.  :laugh3: He claims to have written most of "Libertad" while sober and I think it shows because it's pretty blah. It kinda just lays there and doesn't really do anything for me.  



I have a lot of mixed feelings about the Chilli Peppers. They were never a real fav of mine but they did show some real sparks of genius in there earlier albums. I agree with you about the line up with Flea and Frusciante being when they did there best work.

I find there are few exceptions to rockstars who did heroin who could write anything greater after they got clean... and I can't think of any of those exceptions offhand.
