Quote from: Dove on March 18, 2026, 11:35:34 PMWe simply dont need to bomb humans to know how radiation will impact them. We have seen heavy radiation poisoning. We had live examples.

We have cells that have been exposed in controlled setting. We also use bodies donated to science for weird military shit.

Im not saying the US has never acted unethically, im just saying I disagree that the bombed dropped on Japan were any sort of trial. I know people who were in that war agreed those bombs ended it.

You'd be more upset for Fauci's beagle testing than the massive incineration of whole cities worth of humans...

Seriously man.. what is it about Iran that has your tits in such a twist?

I can understand you calling me an asshole over Gaza and my total lack of empathy there. At least in that instance there is some level of controversy over whether Palestinians are displaced and whether this is a fight for their freedom or just plain old Islamic terrorism

but Iran? Bro.. you're weeping for rodents who would happily behead every last one of us for no reason at all.

Do you believe that the Iranian regime killed 30,000 Iranian protesters ?

The war was over. Your public school text books led you down the garden path...  same as the US Civil War reasons, and pretty much everything after the 1820's/1830's.

The time to speak out at wrongdoing is in the here and now, or our lineage will be force fed horse shit. You want to be a patriotic American? Start doing it by calling out power and lies.

The example of Okinawa is pretty clear.  It would have been a long hard slog and many hundreds of thousands of Americans and Japanese would have died.  This garden path you speak of isn't familiar to me.

Quote from: Reggie Essent on March 18, 2026, 11:27:40 PMMy dad was in the first patrol that went into Nagasaki. He used to tell the story of walking across a big square of what he thought was white gravel, but it turned out to be the cremated and crunchy bones of dead burnt Japs.

Do you think he would have made it to Nagasaki if we had to invade?

The war wasn't over when the decision was made to drop the bombs.

Honestly, when you have an ideology that is bent on blaming the US for WWII the crying will be loud and wearisome no matter which course of action was taken.

We microwave a couple of hundred thousand of them we're criminals

we go in their with the intent to preserve life, double the causality count on BOTH sides and in the end the crybabies will look up every damned and dreadful thing ANY of our soldiers did and point to it as evidence we are an evil and corrupt empire.

Look no further than Vietnam for proof as to what I'm saying

so in the end? FUck them and their feelings. Drop the nukes and preserve young American lives like your grandfather.

We didn't drop bombs on ourselves on Dec 7th 1942 so you aint gonna see a single tear come out of me for anyone on that side.

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on March 18, 2026, 11:36:56 PMNor should you be.

Do you think those japs in Nagasaki and Hiroshima were crying for the young American sailors, many of whom remain entombed in the Arizona to this very day, when their radios broadcasted a "great victory for the Japanese Empire"?

no.. they danced in the streets just like those cockroaches did in Gaza on 911 2001.

Did any of them cry as their barbaric soldiers, many of of whom were total fucking perverts, raped and pillaged their way through Chinese farmlands in a quest for natural resource and land mass?

no.. they hailed these conquests as great victories in the advancement of their empire

But all of the sudden we're supposed to get all teary eyed when Karma came to bit them in the ass in the form of two very bright displays of American might.

not me man.

Were most Japanese Shinto followers or most Germans nazi ideologues? No. They were manipulated/fomented like Americans were when Sadam Hussein called up the Bush Whitehouse and was assured of no blowback for invading Kuwait, or when the Trade Towers were supposedly attacked years later by a bunch of Saudi's and Afghans but Iraq had WMD's OMG! OMG! OMG!

You got duped both times and not only those times.... the Gulf of Tonkin incident never happened. WW2 was a direct result of the punitive and inhumane conditions placed on German civilians after the Treaty of Versailles and the Japanese would have never attacked Pearl Harbor except their oil supply to their tiny nation so dependent on it was being strangled by the US and the West at large, as well as US mercenary pilots flying for China.

Oh, and the Middle East wouldn't be the hell storm it is today if the Treaty of Versailles never transpired.

The West makes the problem then exacerbates it over numerous generations until the history books indoctrinate out the last remnants of common sense, and you're proof of it.

Who would you prefer write thew history books?

We've seen what happens when history is "revised."  We need only witness the young nitwits on college campuses who fervently believe we live on "stolen land" and that organizing homosexuals to "protest for Palestine" makes any kind of rational sense.

So, who would you prefer write the history books?  The losers instead of the winners?

Were the 3000 employees who showed up for work in the world trade center on 9-11 soliders? Intelligence officers? Combatants of any kind?

Nope.

And what did Osama bin Laden say when interviewed? "they were tax paying citizens who's taxes contributed to the American war machine and were therefore legitimate targets"

and you know what? as Much as I hate to admit it he's got a point. Our military wouldn't have the muscle it has without the everyday person

so yes, when it's dog it dog and we're fighting to win EVERYONE is a fucking target. and I expect the otherside to be looking at the chessboard from the same perspective

this idea of sterile war is fucking stupid. So a medic runs out into the battlefield ready to stitch up a few causalities so as to get them back into the fight and I'm suddenly a criminal if I take him out before he's had a chance to do so?

that's silly ideology there man. War is brutal. It's ugly and quite frankly disgusting. It's supposed to be that way so people AVOID it.

Now .. to your point about our meddling in Middle eastern affairs getting us to where we are today. I quite frankly don't give a fuck about that either. I didn't support it and I didn't start it... it's there despite my personal wishes that it wasn't -- but the fact of the matter is that since it's there these people have a bone to pick with me, and all the yellow belly sobbing I decide to do on their behalf isn't going to change the fact that they view me with the same level of contempt they view every other AMerican and will take me out the first chance they get.

so based on that set of circumstances? Fuckem. I wont weep for any of them no matter how many bombs we drop on their heads

Anna Kasparian was asked the very same question and answered similarly.

But she happily gobbles up the bloated civilian casualty reports coming out of a terrorist organization.

so I now put the question to you. How many civilians do you think died in Gaza at the hands of the Isrealies?

The honest....wherever the cards may fall.

Our ancestors at one point stole land from others who stole territory in turn from others. It's all very disgusting but once a few generations spring forth, the time to call it out is over because they are the people of the land.

Courage is saying right away... "no, this is wrong. I will not participate in it."

As for homos protesting the killing of civilians and children? Homos are allowed to recognize some bad things they see, even if they do bad things to themselves and others.

In the rubble or by sniper fire?

Gaza is largely rubble now and anything which stirs is shot at.

I'm sure in your world you believe you "shot up" my points

but the reality of the matter is quite different as you have yet to produce anything but emotional hysterics and some shameless pontificating about "empathy" -- which is laughable considering you cannot show any it to some poor Mexican roofer or sheet rocker working his ass to the bone 12 hours a day because he crossed some imaginary line on a border 15 years ago.

Yeah, that guy simply has to suffer for his reprehensible crime but lets all hold hands and weep together because YOU suddenly grew something that remotely resembles a conscience on some petri dish and feel that the people who want us dead should be allowed to run ragshod through their efforts to harm us

No sale here, pal.
