The Dems used to be tough on crime about three decades ago. Now they enable criminals.

Relatively speaking to how they are today, yea, but even back then, they were fighting for criminals to be released early.

As someone who lives in the shithole known as Illinois, I can tell you that so many people have left, the state has now swung hopelessly left. There's not an ounce of political common sense left here. Hell, even the ghetto niggers in The Chicongo are leaving because its so bad! That retarded fat fuck we have as governor is like Mark Carney, fucking things up massively then declaring he's done great things for us!

Nuke this fukin state from orbit.

I remember Clinton went too far the other way with his 1994 crime bill.

He didnt go far enough. We should have started executing 10X the people we did back then. Maybe much more than that!

If I was a judge and could do it, if some cunt was before me and they had been picked up 3 fucking times for DUI or shoplifting, they'd be breaking rocks for3-5 solid years!

I recall one case where someone was sentenced to life breaking a public toilet on their third conviction.

I havent reviewed the details but I heard of such cases. Is that extreme? Well, if it was some fukin violent bum, probably not.

As I recall it did not matter if the crime was violent or not. That law went too far.

I'm VERY skeptical these days. I really want to know if some of those cases were a technical over application of that law where a judge PURPOSELY went overboard in an effort to ultimately derail the legislation. Now why would I say this? Because of all the cases where fukin libtard judges these very days are ruling against Trump by stretching law, only to have SCOTUS pimp slap the fuck out of them. Just recently, a judge over ruled a jury verdict/sentence. https://www.foxnews.com/us/minnesota-judge-under-fire-tossing-7-2m-taxpayer-fraud-conviction-tied-alleged-lavish-lifestyle  So much for a judge being locked into what a jury declares! Spare me the bullshit! Why arent lower court justices tossed out when they reach a certain percentage of being overturned? You know the SCOTUS as well as state supremes have ruled sentences were excessive before, right?

The Constitution clearly spells out that if you arent a citizen, POTUS can kick your as out PERIOD, end of story. Even so, these fucking judges sure dont seem to have a problem setting law and 200 years of precedent aside, do they!

Oh well, the march toward civil war continues.

It was a long time ago. I do not have the time or energy to investigate.

I agree, even I dont have the dedication to invest that kind of time. I dont really feel the need to though because I've witnessed a complete abuse of power by the justice system in the last dozen years. It didnt just start when I started noticing.

Same thing with all this goobermint shut down shit. The ONLY shit that gets shut down is stuff average joe gives a shit about. All the stuff I'd love to see shut down is funded by mandate and cannot be stopped.
