I just found out that my younger son is making me a Grandpa!

 Or I forgot. I have PTSD and it makes information just kind of fall out of my brain. My short term memory is reeaaalllyy iffy. I do pretty good remembering important details of people I like but sometimes it just goes 

 I definately will remember now lol.

 My girls probably will not be making me a grandma anytime soon lol.

 I will be a waiting for a while. My oldest daughter is engaged but her and her future wife are finishing university before they marry. My daughter is a year away from her bachelors degree in biochemistry and my future daughter in law just started an accelerated masters program for her architecture degree. They both work and go to school.

 Since they are both women, when they decide to raise children it's gonna be very planned for.

 My second one is about to turn 21. She works, saves money, is figuring out what she wants as a career and prefers the single life right now. Boys out there are ridiculous lol.

 Shes still with me and shes still my big baby and im not at all interested in rushing her out. She still comes and crawls into bed with me lol.

 My Squish is 9....so thats gonna be a while. Right now she rejects the thought of marriage, she doesn't want any babies in her body, and says she's going to get wealthy and buy a big house and just adopt ALL the kids who dont have homes and hire people to cook.

 So. Those are her life plans lol

 I look forward to seeing my daughters become mommies but im in no rush.

Their mom isn't much of a parent as I understand it and she isn't much of a daughter either.

I don't know that I can blame this particular issue on my exwife, as my eldest daughter is severely mentally ill, and there's some of that on both sides- my mom was off the freaking walls and ended her life in a car in the garage.

Either way my eldest has excluded most people from her life including me, she took her kids along with her (although she lost custody they are rarely with her as I understand it) and honestly I'm not unhappy about it. Even though I'd be there for them if I was wanted or needed I'd rather enjoy my retirement in Greece and not having anything to do with them rather than have to deal with that sort of drama.
