I have a wide range of musical interests, across a wide range of genres. But somehow, particular bands or songs never crossed my path, or maybe I was in a different mindset at the time to even notice.

Feel free to throw in anything obscure, new or backbeat that you enjoy ... and most importantly...feel the rhythm.

I was 12 years old when I sang that song in front of my primary school circa 1983! lol.

Here's another song by the same band E'Void that has a bit of "out there" at the time... it was the 80's mind you!

One more to set the score...E'Void~ I Am A Faggot...

I saw these guys live at least three times in Sydney, Australia. The lead singer is out there and quite explicit. An artist in his own right... behold Mammal:

So I saw these guys in my early 30's and I was throwing ice creams by the dollop at the Hell's Angels biker security for kicks. (I got kicked out for crowd surfing and my house was right next to the venue). I had the longest crowd surf, and by the end of the song, the lead singer laughed out loud, yelling at the crowd, "did you see that guy... he looked like Jesus Christ!"

When I was lifted up into the crowding hands, I had just ordered two beers from the bar, and was trying not to let the beers spill. True story...

Prior to that I was in my 20's and tried to escape a stupid amount of people at a Big Day concert. The Cult were headlining back in '94 or so? These kids were just 16 years old. But I stopped one of their hit songs midway because the advertisement sign I had climbed to get a better prospective of the whole concert was about to fall down...

Behold... Silver Chair ~ Pure Massacre 1995.

I had a moment with Rodriguez, the most humble man in music I ever knew. I have a photo of him and I hugging at a signing after his beautiful show. He signed, Ryan I love you, and I will always cherish that. Remind me to post a picture. That was back in 2010, when Rodriguez was 69 years old. I fed  him red wine after red wine when he was performing on stage at The Basement, Sydney. 300 limited capacity. Best show of my entire life.

R.I.P Rodriguez... I love you back!

Well here's another Mammal song ~ Smash the piñata.

I had a factory right next to this loose, drug-fuelled hotel, when this band rocked up. I had a microwave and a plate, and apparently that semi-cooked the cocaine just right. Anyway...I won't even get into that deplorable odyssey!

The worst concert of my life was by a lad by the name of Brian Warner, some know him as Marilyn Manson.
I was so happy to finally see him on stage and he just fucked up. He was so high and so drunk that the pyrotechnics had to pump smoke onto the stage just to try and screen out some of his antics. I got close and personal with him via the mosh pit and he spat water into my face! It was a collective crowd mind you, but you get my disdain. This cunt thought that he was a catch!

Anyway... it was the worst show that I had ever seen, and yet I liked his videos!

Brent

I see you are not into any top forty songs.

Making any charts isn't the point...if you listen to the songs, will you only clearly hear their value.
