Celebrating Maurice Wilkes a Brit who invented the basis of the personal computer before the Yanks commercialized it. It was meant for military purposes initially, but was leaked out and developed in the open market eventually for commercial reasons. This that had deep pickets would further develop it to what is now the Internet/World Wide Web. He passed away in his 90's [the 70's I believe] still with great acuity and brilliant mind.
