That's gotta hurt.
But, you see, Romero...like all the small thinkers, you don't see America's Grand Strategy - but all the evidence is there to those who can think BIG.
Its the wonderful simplicity of it all...
Firstly, America commits a false flag attack on itself by destroying the twin towers and part of the Pentagon. Keen observers will notice that the towers were attacked in the early morning to avoid killing the executives, and the section of the Pentagon that was destroyed housed the section that dealt with the Soviet Union.
This, of course, then justifies engaging in a war on Iraq. After all, 15 terrorists that exploited massive security lapses in domestic air travel is surely a threat to democracy. Then the good bit.
The American Government leases out the post war management to a company owned by the Vice President and his cronies. Sheer brilliance!!! Arab money pays for American military action, and the VP gets a cut.
Of course, having one dictator toppled leads to others..Ghaddaffi, Assad, the Muslim Brotherhood...and the Middle East is just a massive war zone. Again. Except for Israel. No, wait, they whacked Gaza, because the Hammas troopes were firing Iranian designed rockets into Israel for no apparent reason. So Israel strikes back a hundred fold and buys MORE guns from America.
Now, where were we...
Yes, Iran has nukes. Probably given to them by Saddam. So help Iran attack the Yemeni's and...oh, fuck it...
The point is, anyone with an ounce of intelligence could and did foretell that this was the mess that American militarising would create.
America cannot fight a war. It doesn't know how. It adopts the same foreign policy approach about attacking and killing as it does in its own yard. America believes killing is a solution. Maybe they are right. But they can't do it.
Argentina invades the Falklands. The Brits go over, kick them out, fix the place up, and that's it. Job done. Everything the US touches becomes a tar baby they can never release or manage.
