It's only fair that other provinces should pay their fair share of Quebec's allowance. The only way to do that is to shut down Alberta(Canada's) economy. This is why I'm voting for the No Devlopment Party. :stupid:

If only the No Development Party would surprise everyone by doing a good job somewhere for a change.  http://www.forevermanic.com/Forum/images/smilies/Kiss%20Frog.gif">

It looks like Albertans are going to elect a No Development Party majority. What does this mean for other Canadians you ask? You will have to expand your resource development as the dippers will NOT be going to DC to champion our industry. The Alberta PC's are corrupt to the bone, but we are the economic engine of Canada. We have the lowest taxes, lowest debt and highest wages. Rachel Notley will ensure that other provinces pay their fair share(to Quebec and Ontario). ac_rollseyes

OPEC/ISIS is really counting on a Notley landslide on Tuesday

I never even heard of Rachel Notley until yesterday. What she needs to do is run a squeaky clean house and bring in some good policies to slowly diversify the economy. What she'll probably do is go off on a 'sugar high' and try to save the world in four years - then get kicked out onto the curb.

Same old tired disingenuous No Development Party war cry. Alberta's taxes too low(even though we spend more per capita than almost any other province), higher corporate taxes aren't job and investment killers and expanding an already large and expensive snivel service.

I know fiscal conservatives that have voted for the No Development Party in advance polls just because they are sick of Prentice/PC arrogance. Throw the breadwinner of Canada under the fucking bus because our premier is full of himself. ac_rollseyes

We should focus more on developing our high-tech industries. The low hanging fruit of easy resource money won't last forever and we don't want to end up with a work force that only knows how to operate heavy machinery. Also until the Saudis run out of oil we're basically at their mercy. They can shut our economy down if we insult the prophet Muhammad.

We should focus on our competitive advantage and for Canada, USA and Australia that mean resource development. The jobs within those industries are NOT low tech despite your ignorant fucking assumptions. They contribute twice as much to Canada's bottom line per job than Ontario's manufacturing sector.

If you and your make eveyone poorer left coast neo-luddites want OPEC in the driver's seat, then by all means support the No Development Party/Greens to become Saudi's elected agents in Canada. If you want Canada to lead the G7 and supplant those Saudi bastards then help us take market share away from them.

C'mon Bunny, explain how handing off the energy industry to countries who don't give a fuck about human life let alone the environment is better for mommy earth and Canada's GDP?

So who cleans up the gigantic mess they're leaving behind? - all the poisoned groundwater? Oh yeah right, the taxpayers, out of the vast fund that we've put aside. We're not getting a very good deal here, and our kids are going to hate us for what we're doing now. We could make all this dirty shit obsolete if we wanted to.

QuoteCheap, fast & pure: Breakthrough method for hydrogen fuel may revolutionize car industry

Published time: April 07, 2015

Scientists at Virginia Tech have come up with a brand new way to create hydrogen fuel: It's cheap, fast and produces clean results, and involves plain old corn stalks, cobs and husks.

What giant poisoned mess? Quebec's ag. industry which the largest groundwater polluter in Canada?

I don't know what you are ignorantly babbling about, but if it's Alberta's heavy oil industry then what problems? We pay the bills, we don't send an invoice you ignoramous. Our air and water quality are much better than Toronto's or the OPEC countries you shill for.

It's the world's biggest man-made oil spill - evaporates and pollutes huge areas. Not good for your health. I have a feeling we're not going to agree on this issue. =)

We are not going to agree because we do not have the same knowledge. I'm a petroleum engineer. I cannot lower myself to your level of brainwashing/ignorance.

Your mines in BC with their tailings ponds are much worse for the environment than Alberta's in-situ. What's worse than both is the NDP/Greens sending resource development to third world/ISlamic countries.

We could make all the oil we need from plants or algae and all the CO2 would get recycled. The biggest barrier to overcome is people like the Koch brothers. They don't want to lose their cash cow.

The KOCH brothers have investments in expensive/useless solar/wind that cause bigger environmental problems for developing countries than conventional.

Now, please explain knowing that the world is using more conventional energy and will continue to do so for the next 35 years Alberta should hand it off to countries that do not care about women let alone the environment?

Edit,

I fucking love this. An engineer vs. an idiot. ac_dance
