I say bullshit on pay as you go healthcare and education.  I'd rather pay taxes.

Not everything American is irrational.



However, its not merely an American model.



The Anglo/European model of everyone pays for everyone else is a failure. We create a sub-class of idle parasites, who expect and demand they be cared for by the "Government", or more accurately, those that earn an income.



Welfare is a burden on those that act right and responsibly, and a disincentive to those that feed from it.



Health care is abused, and the education system is a contradiction in terms.
