I needed to say this for a long time - Why do we need to dun "the other" forum here?? even though and when when the criticism is often accurate it is still a negative theme



It does not make this forum stronger and in fact weakens it in my view





We have very good people here - Steady unrelenting criticism of "the  other" forum is beneath us and I believe diminishes this good forum and its people

Look, I can definitely see your point CC. In fact, I admit I go overboard at times.



Despite what some people assume, I do NOT hate old evs. I have been on that forum for 4 years now. I have never had much in common with evs and that's fine. However, over the past 2 years(maybe more, perhaps less), I have seen that woman go completely off her rocker or as OL calls it, raging lunacy.



I do have a heart ya know and when I poke fun at her it is done in the same way I did to  Hornung. They are both completely harmless and neither has any impact on my life whatsoever, but my gawd it is funny watching them get riled up oh so easily. Last night's outbursts of irrationality from evs were proof positive of that.



As someone over there said, take away the petty bickering and what have you got left here or there? I would not be surprised if 2015 is the final year of VF. It will most likely continue to shed members until all that remains are the oddstain types. That is a shame considering what that forum used to be. However, you can't really blame good posters for leaving. You can only turn so many cheeks when the deranged admin is attacking intelligent posters with unwarranted insults so childish they would make a first year junior high school student roll their eyes.



I will continue to post little tidbits of stupidity here when I see em even though one poster provides most of the fodder. However, I WILL make an effort to keep the sarcastic commentary down to a dull roar.....no promises though. ac_tongue

Today's contribution is courtesy of one of the most shameless toadies I have ever seen....modelminorityjimbo(mmjames). For those of you unfamiliar with this turd, when ACC was a subforum on VF, he shows up out of the blue and starts posting the type of vile racial stereotypes of Asian chicks in IR that belong exclusively on MM. I don't care that this social misfit hates Asian chicks in IR or the guys they are with(includes you OL). Instigator was the same way, but at least he had the balls to confront us directly(he was funny too). This gutless, insecure dork with no game hides behind evs' dress. Doesn't even have the balls to address me directly.



The concern for Hornung was laughable.

RW, you've got to look at the facts here:

Shen Li is exploiting posters purely for her (forum's) gain:

1) In her forum (which I don't believe the real Hornung was a member), there must have been a dozen threads ridiculing and mocking Hornung -- all which she either created or encouraged. Hornung's qwerks made him an easy target.

2) Now Evs. How often does Evs even mention Shen Li unless it is just after one her "drunken" drop-ins? Now, compare that to the contents inside the biggest thread in the ACF. I'm sure if you removed delete all topics bashing Evs and/or her forum, the post count would drop in half. Evs is the authoritative figure on this forum so will always carry a bulls-eye on her back and making her an easy target. Attacks aren't carried out here but behind the walls of her own forum. I think she is doing this only for membership bonding-- otherwise why not just ignore Evs since she doesn't come here much anyways. This is what I find disgusting. I have said before that I'm a strongly live and let live type of guy.

That's okay, Annie. I read your post. I did not realize you met her and even hugged. That must feel weird now. Well, it's not so unusual to discover that the person you thought was your friend will turn against you after all. The world is full of those. I know what that's like. Just forget about her and move forward. I say 'not worth it' but I know some here seem to think otherwise. I'm not whining as much because I have no expectations of her and I have nothing invested in her. Anyway, that's the last I say anything about that topic.
