\"A man\'s rights rest in three boxes. The ballot-box, the jury-box and the cartridge-box.\"

Frederick Douglass, November 15, 1867.

RW

I know of a guy who is using this as a defence for molesting his daughter.

Yes, unfortunately.  I know his wife and daughter better.  I think he's a disgusting pig as a general comment of his appearance and personality.

That's fucked up to say the least. He sounds like a real gem.

According to the article it's supposed to be a rare condition. Personally I never even heard of it until I stumbled across it looking for something to test post here.

He's a pig in every sense of the word.  Whether he will be found guilty or innocent is beyond me.

I guess it will depend on whether or not he has a credible medical professional to collaborate his story. I think claiming a sleep disorder caused you to molest your kid is a pretty thin defense. At least in my mind it is but there is no telling what a judge or a jury might fall for.

Damn that is awful RW

That excuse, even If it was a legit condition, makes no sense that he would not act on his wife, assuming she is right there handy and the daughter is not so nearby

That alone pretty much says it all - not an excuse that "should" work. That said, with our judges ....

His daughter was sleeping in their bed.  The wife was gone for the night.

It's still gross no matter how you cut it.
