He's on EI? I was unaware of that.



I was on EI twice for my maternity leave.



My husband was on it once too when he was starting out in his career.



I'm sure glad it is there if people need it.

for sure..both me and the dragon go on EI for the winter months.....part of my strategy to get my money back before the welfare leeches get it all.....i don't need the money and donate it all to charity......but i will get it back

don't judge...ive watched this country swirl down the shitter for over 50 years......as it became more progressive it also became a socialist workers paradise.....it is too bad that my kids and people younger than my generation could not have have lived here when it was a real country.....we all do what we have to to get by.....i put up with the government stealing from me all of my career...no longer

I do like the subforums though, especially Home Economics 101...I asked the owner of it if I could combine that with beauty, health and fashion.



As for me and my husband we are happy with our lives..



We are only working people, but my happiness is my family and helping people anyway I can.

that is truly all that is important....at the end of the day, when you look back on your life's accomplishments, the success of your family and their contributions to others is what will make you the proudest......the rest is all just noise and stuff that keeps the blood flowing and challenges your abilities and morals.......

Unions still has a place in society in my opinion, but they also need to know their place, and take care of the workers.

This Hostess fiasco should have never went that far, but the union kept pushing.

Teamsters at least agreed for cuts with them, they had smarter people.

Yes, the UAW is one of those that I worked in. Just saying they should take the interest of the worker into mind, and by doing that take a cut if needed to keep a business going.
