A new report by the Fraser Institute suggests that nearly $50 billion will be spent on interest payments this year for Canada's ballooning debt.

The report found that interest will cost the federal and provincial governments a significant portion of their total budgets. Regardless of province, governments will spend over $1,000 per person on interest payments.

Baltimore HS student passes three classes in four years, has 0.13 GPA, gets sent back to 9th grade. His mother says she never knew.

Despite failing almost all of his courses, the student somehow is ranked near the top half of his class: 'He didn't fail, the school failed him

Tiffany France figured her son would receive his diploma in June after four years of attending Augusta Fells Savage Institute of Visual Arts in west Baltimore, WBFF-TV reported.

But the station said France was shocked to learn that her 17-year-old passed only three classes in four years, has a 0.13 grade point average, and now is getting sent back to the 9th grade.

I made every effort to watch the entire thing so I have my own observations when I discuss it with my friends.
