I sure hope Canada gets rid of that test within last 3 days requirement

Traffic at border, after snowbirds got through in early morning fell to a trickle - because of the test - Day visits are not practical

My passport (needed now as they no longer issue "enhanced driver's licenses @#$%^) should be here any day now & I have not seen daughter 30 miles away in 1 1/2 years

A few had to pay 150$ for test in Blaine & Bellingham & it's only good for 3 days for our Govt. upon return - so malls all ready for Canadians  were empty of customers yesterday

The  Govt needs to get its act in gear ... maybe test if there long time is OK, but day trips?

I never shop there like many do, but I  do want to start visiting again .. nice lunch visits 1/2 way between in Ferndale

I hope to go o Florida in January. It might change by then.

Worse for that is cost of test within 3 days of return

Logically, Canada has to drop that requirement .... but vaxxed will stay a must

Does anyone know if Provincial Vax passports are OK, or is a separate Canada one needed??

Are you saying you test to go to a foreign country, test in that country seventy two hours before returning and then test again after arriving back in Canada?

The U.S. cost of living went up at its fastest annual pace in more than 30 years in October, new figures showed Wednesday, as the price of just about everything is increasing at a much faster pace than usual.

The U.S. Bureau of Labour Statistics reported that the all-items consumer price index rose by 6.2 per cent in the 12 months up to October. Prices rose by almost a full per cent just in the month of October alone.

While almost every single subindex was higher, the biggest factors in the record-setting jump were energy, shelter, food and new and used vehicles.

How do we stack up vs. US?

I don't have data. but just checking used car prices online, they are a lot higher than they were two years ago. Grocery prices are up quite a bit. We are looking for a new tv, and they are up too.

It's Rememberance Day in Canada today..

Two weeks from today is American Thanksgiving..

Where has 2021 gone.

A survey by the website CarGurus found that the prices for new cars in Canada have surged nearly 20 per cent from this time last year..

A used car, meanwhile, now costs up to a third more than it did in November of 2020.

Odi, what are the COVID requirements for non EU foreigners to travel to Finland?

I ask because my husband and I are going to Holland for Christmas..

I assume they will have the same rules as Finland.

Canada is green listed on  the EU-level.

No restrictions.

Welcome aboard.
