35 years ago today, the world lost a great musical talent and one of the most notable voices of a generation.....John Lennon.   ac_crying

It's hard to believe that it has been 35 years since his death. I was 7 when it happened and the reason I still remember it was because it effected my mom enough that she cried when his death was announced; she was and still is a big Beatles fan.

More an Abba fan, are ya?

I remember where I was when I heard the news. I was in the UK...London was stunned, and Americans were advised to take a low profile.

Oddly, I also remember memorial T shirts were selling in Oxford St that same day.
