Given his circumstance, if my Dad had been a card carrying Conservative or New Democrat, I would've joined either party and voted for them just to make him happy. At that point he was on intravenous, couldn't eat or drink. He told me he didn't think he'd make it to Election Day. So, I voted for the party of his choice and told him that I did.



That was on a Wednesday. He passed away three days later.



He didn't make it until election day.



So quit crying in your beer whether your party lost. At least you got to see the results on election day.



My father didn't. His dream was to make it home to watch the election results.

No have you refuted point by point any claims I made or the sequence of events.

Either way, I was hoping for a minority guv & even agreed that the Tories and Harper were even correct on a number of issues.  I could've lived with Conservative minority guv. I just didn't want them or anybody to get a majority. I thought Trudeau should've either sat in opposition for a while to learn the ropes or been a partner in aminority guv.
