Well. I just read that  BTO just released its first new song in over 40 years. So, here it is. It's pretty good, although the rhythm is identical to their old classic, Takin' Care of Business:

Sloan is from Nova Scotia. Just found 'em today, although they've been in business for quite a while. Virtually no success in the USA, but have enjoyed a lot of popularity in Canada. This is from 1992:

Earlier today, I was researching another band and its former lead guitar player. That led me to a Canuck band I'd never heard of, but is apparently well known there. Formed in 1992 in Vancouver, this is Econoline Crush:
