Neither dog meat or dog soup(boshintang 보신탕) are regular staples. Women have tried dog, but it is usually men and at certain time of the year. Eating dog is becoming less common in Korea. What I am getting at is that the chances of a Korean woman in the states cooking dog meat for a miguk are extremely slim That is why I am calling the crybaby troll on his bullshit.

Seoul, what are you doing? You are better than this petty crap. As I get older I have less and less tolerance for bullshitters like odinson or that Dinky Diana guy. But dsm is not like that. He was telling a little story that even if it is made up is a long way from the constant bs of those two twits I just mentioned. From what I have heard, dsm comes from a troll type forum. I do not want the guy to stop telling stories. He's an ok guy, cut him some slack.

good god, this shit STILL ain't dead.... fuckin hell.... :(

look here, little fella.... this wasn't some random bitch going door to door offering to cook dogs for ppl. she had been my neighbor for 2 years prior to the dog incident. her husband died in a boating accident withen the first 6 months of them moving there. i cut her grass, i brought her fresh deer, i had her over for dinner quite often, she would call and i would check her yard with a gun and flashlight at midnight, i helped her with paperwork if it was to technical for her, i drove her around when nobody else would.... for the most part, i was her goddamn lifeline till she could finally move closer to town.... i dunno all the ins and outs and rules of etiquette associated with eating a fuckin dog.... but i know that there is no reason in hell this shit needed to be drug out this long.... and on that note, i will bid you a good day.... because quite frankly Kim Jong, you're making me ill.... lol.... :D

Don't sweat it brother. This is not about some broad cooking dog for you and you know it. It's spill over from crap that happened at another forum. It's too bad because you both seem like good guys.

On the topic of Asian women, my old lady cannot put the tablet away while in paradise. Have a good Christmas dsm. You got me thinking. I could go for a good feed of venison when I get back.

Hey skinny, I'd be happy to cook you some fido. Just bring your dog around to my place with a good sharp knife.

There was a story on the CBC about a salmon farm on Vancouver Island.

The shrimp I saw from them was caught in Oregon.  I placed an order (slobber)

:)  I'm glad to have an option.  I'll keep an eye out.

I just thought it was strange that Canada has a fishing industry - but I don't see Canadian caught shrimp in the stores.  But, I'll keep looking :)

Thanks a bunch asal. That was mighty kind of you.

I have worked all over the world. As much as I believe Saskatchewan is as close to paradise as a body can get, I miss good fresh fish I use to get in the decades I lived outside Canada. Thanks again kid. ac_biggrin

I had some friends from Saskatchewan who were working with me out here.  They said it's paradise back there and returned home.  So, that's that story.

Apparently it's brighter in the winter - less depressing than gray skies, amongst a million other better things.

fresh, I guess I don't buy it that often.

There is live fish always available.  There are live fish tanks in many shops in Vancouver.

There's a fish man that sells fish a few blocks down.  It is fresh on ice.  He's always there.
