Glen Frey has passed away.



He'll get a great welcome at the Hotel California.

I loved the Eagles with Glen Frey on vocals. The best country rock sound of all time. Goodbye Glen Frey. Your music lives on.

It's just a theory but I think the stress of knowing that ww3 is just around the corner is literally killing people.   :sad:

To be honest, Glen Fry wasn't my favorite Eagle. Not to speak ill of the dead but when I would see him during interviews, I really got the feeling that he thought of himself as being above the rest of the band (with the exception of Don Henley). He always came off like he thought he "was all that and a bag of chips";...... like he was Gods gift to the group.



Sorry but that's just my take on it. It doesn't change the fact that his death is very sad. 67 is really a little early to lose someone.

He was the co-writer of one of their greatest hits.  I would expect a bit of a fat head from him.
