I got a lot of amusement at the expense of others during some rough periods of my life.  I've made some very close "rl" friends with a handful of others from those boards. It's only a surprise because I'm over all that and just being, "normal" and behaved. Lol

I used to think that way too GrAnnie and for the longest time I wouldn't use my image in any way on the net. But the truth is, nowadays when you go out in public you really have no idea how many times your pic is being taken and used for reasons unknown to you. From security cameras to miscreant assholes getting their jollies with their cell phones, you really have no way of knowing where, when or how your image will be used.



Just take a quick spin through YouTube or Daily Motion and you will see tons of videos of unsuspecting individuals. And don't even get me started on sites like "The People of Wal-Mart" where the retarded, mentally questionable, the obese, the fashion challenged and the handicapped are exploited for humorous purposes.



Don't get me wrong I still have a lot of trepidation about showing a full body shot (bad experiences die hard) but showing my face on an internet backwater like this.....no big deal.
