I just fold a bit of it back against itself, then cut the 1/4" or so off when i use it - but the clip looks good

I love fresh corn on the cob. Another perk of summer.

Try cooking it like this.  It's delicious and you don't have to shuck it.  Use your oven mitts to handle it though.

We usually boil or barbeque corn, but I will try this sometime.

 When we motor-homed summers we always soaked the entire thing for a cpl of hrs to wet it throughout - and placed on BBQ (May I be stuck dead if I ever use the embarrassing Aussie term for BBQ)



It became easy to pull the chafe off and was as tasty as anything can be
