High blood sugar and the current diabetes witch hunt is just one of the latest cash cows for the medical community and big pharma.

Keep your eyes open because they are going to try a tie blood sugar to just about any ailment under the sun just to see if it sticks. Why?.....Because it equals sales and profit. It almost seems like a new type II diabetes medicine is introduced on a daily basis and doctors are prescribing them like they are doling out Halloween candy.

They did the same thing with statins a decade ago and as a result, half the people out there taking cholesteral lowering meds, probably shouldn't really be taking them.

Just another day in paradise, people, where shadowy entities are all vying for their piece of control over your life  and wallet.

That is true.

If I was really worried about getting lung cancer, quitting smoking would be a higher priority than swearing off bread.

And what part do family doctors play in this Renee?

Are they part of the conspiracy?

Their role is to push pills. It's no secret that pharmaceutical companies spend more in advertising and marketing of their latest wonder drug per year than they do on R&D. Part of that money spent is in the form of seminars held on Caribbean islands and in other exotic places. Many doctors and medical staff are offered all expenses paid trips to these seminars and unveilings of the latest and greatest drugs along with gifts and large stock piles of free samples.

It's not a conspiracy...it's just a perk of being in a position to help distribute a product. It's no different than politics. People are bought and sold everyday. But don't be fooled; from the pharmaceutical end of the industry the name of the game is not healthcare for the sake of saving lives, it's healthcare for the sake of profit and everyone involved must play along or be squeezed out.

Another example of pill pushing by big pharma and the medical community is the over prescribing of mind altering drugs for children and adults with so-called ADHD and other perceived behavioral and learning disabilities. That's been going on for over 25 year and I can't believe that no one finds it troubling enough to look into it.

It's prolly a little diff here because of our health care system. Although, we don't have a national pharma-care program.

You should write an article and publish it. It's a shame to have this hidden away on an obscure forum.

It's an eye opener about what is happening in the USA.
