It has always been that way. Nothing out of the ordinary is going on. I have lived in a border state all my life. Because of the ungodly problem we have with drugs and human trafficking for so many years this is the way it is.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

Why was she being stopped?

Was this on an international border?

Or on a state highway within the us borders?

It wasn't clear as to why the police were conducting this search

That's all well and good but we're watching the rising tides then something like Rodney King happens.

They were saying she looked nervous.

International...

A state highway.

A normal occurrence along the southern border with Mexico. Actually there is a 100 mile border zone along the entire border of the United States. Border patrol operates primarily in that zone. Link below.

That does not mean that agents should STOP doing their duty, and that citizens should assume that their "rights" are more important than their safety.

I just can't understand why people in the West, especially the US are so paranoid about their own local police, acting like they'll lose an arm or a leg if they cooperate with them.  There's just too much privacy laws that get in the way of police doing their work where in the far East our police are respected for the risk and deeds they do everyday, and don't have to put up with the daily bullcrap for just a simple ID check.  Privacy rights or the safety/preservation of human lives, the choice should be obvious.

Truth is, you probably smelled like you just came off a 5 day bender and that gave her enough probable cause to give you a hard time.

You're lucky she didn't take you away and crawl up your ass with a microscope, you belligerent moron. AND given that many of us have seen what comes out of your ass; that's a job no one on this planet wants.

Since I'm a sexy man, I have no doubt she wanted to thoroughly search me for "Border Security Measures."

Thing is, I landed back from Vegas into Van, so they cannot deport me...  I am in the country where I was born, and live.

Bitch just wanted to get a grasp of my junk, and tear through my luggage.

She liked me, so I cannot blame her for using her position of trust and authority to spend time with me, I put it to an end...

Angry White Male

Funny thing was, bitch came back telling me one of my cards tested positive for Coke.

I've chopped up Coke before, but not with that card!

They are trained to lie to get you to admit to something you didn't do.

As I said, m husband has received extra scrutiny when he returned from certain countries.

I have been detained and searched more than once in the UK.

Having nothing to fear, I happily complied with the guys doing it. Apparently my name matches another who is somewhat unsavoury.

Perhaps I could have claimed my right to free passage was being impinged, but I didn't give a fuck. Those folks were just doing their job.

RW

I used to refuse to allow unlawful searches when I was a teenager.  I'm not going to comply with my rights being trampled on.

And what was the consequence of that??
