Or will be on January the 8th, when his new album, "Blackstar" is released.



According to one who has heard the 7 tracks, the new album is "bonkers".



There will be no single from the album, but the following track and video has been released as a teaser.

Clearly, Bowie has taken a rather imaginative and somewhat obscure direction, as he did with "Low" way back. Somewhat more hoary and less rock and roll, Bowie seems to be following Scott Walker in using music as an abstract "painting" in which the listener finds their own message and purpose.



I would be interested in hearing what others thought of the song, above.
