Finally!  Somebody can add something other than crap!

It was used in Vietnam as well. Which is kinda strange considering they were selling them as surplus during the first half of Vietnam.
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

They're not worth much, but still a piece of history.  I'd like to own a Garand also, but that is a low priority right now.

As a Kraut, I'd also like to own a few German pieces also, but that gets a little more tricky...  Any true Kraut WWII firearm, either long guns or pistols, get snapped up by collectors pretty quick, and for a decent price tag!

And for the record, that is an M1 Carbine.  It has significance, as it was utilized in two wars...

Quote from: "cc la femme"What's really funny about the pic is that everyone looking at it knows the recoil would kick the little twit into the "other" forum

The biggest recoil I have ever experienced, is with 12 Gauge "Magnum" turkey loads.  Not even the .375 Holland & Holland seemed to kick quite like that!

It'll kick!

My buddy, who's 6' 2", and about 220, ended up with a bruised shoulder.

I'm not quite that big, but can shoulder these loads all day long, with nothing but a smile on my face!

Pistol grip pump shotgun?  I can slap out all six within a few seconds, hitting the target, with ease and with no discomfort.

Handguns?  .357 Magnum one handed, at the club.  On target, six rounds, within seconds.  Range Boss was impressed!

Trust me...  I can shoot.

The fact that others cannot, is not my problem.

Ran into a guy I knew from highschool at the range, that's a Vancouver Police officer now...  He said "scary."  Why?  It's just a hobby...

Find something that you're good at!  If you can out-do, and outhandle others, that's their problem, and not mine!
