Whatever one is to make of Lincoln's origins, he definitely had DNA/genetic markers which originated from North Africa/and or the Middle East.



Lincoln described himself as tall, swarthy looking with dark skin, thick curly hair & grey eyes.



Although no official portrait of his Mother Nancy Hanks Lincoln is known to exist, she was described by him as tall, with grey eyes & dark skin. She was reputed to have been the illegitimate daughter of a Lucy Lincoln. Who this Lucy Lincoln was remains a mystery but rumors persist that she was a black or mixed race slave.
