Trouble in paradise? But they have so much in common!

QuoteRoger Ailes breaks away from 'waste of time' Trump just before the final debate

Ousted Fox News head Roger Ailes and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump have fallen out and are no longer speaking, sources say.

Emily Jane Fox of Vanity Fair reported on Wednesday that New York magazine's Gabriel Sherman and Vanity Fair editor Sarah Ellison have both been informed that the longtime friends Trump and Ailes are no longer on good terms, but the reasons for the parting of ways vary according to who you ask.

"Ailes's camp said Ailes learned that Trump couldn't focus — surprise, surprise — and that advising him was a waste of time," Sherman said Tuesday morning at Vanity Fair's New Establishment Summit. "These debate prep sessions weren't going anywhere."

The rupture in the men's years-long friendship comes just as Trump is weathering the storm of an ever-expanding sexual harassment scandal. The accusations against Trump are remarkably similar to those which ended Ailes' reign atop Fox News. Both men are accused by multiple women of making unwanted sexual advances, inappropriate touching and kissing, fondling and coercion.

Yeah Right

that last post from the liberal hypocrisy file-- when trump talks about harassing women it's horrible, but When Bill Clinton actually rapes, gropes, and harasses women (and Hillary attacks them for it) its all just dandy.

Typical. :001_rolleyes:

QuoteFox News ends ties with host Bill O'Reilly after harassment claims

Fox News has decided to part ways with star host Bill O'Reilly following allegations of sexual harassment, the network said in a statement.

"After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the Company and Bill O'Reilly have agreed that Bill O'Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel," said the statement.

The New York Times reported on April 1 that Fox and O'Reilly, a 20-year veteran of the conservative cable network, paid five women a total of $13 million to settle harassment claims. The five women who received settlements either worked for O'Reilly or appeared as guests on his program, according to the New York Times story.

I would have thought that Fox News having a policy of hiring only attractive women and making them wear short skirts was enough, but some people are so greedy.

QuoteFox News Fires Co-President Bill Shine, Sean Hannity May Be Next

Another brick in the Fox News wall of scandal came tumbling down on Monday, as network co-president Bill Shine was fired. Shine was Roger Ailes's right-hand man and Sean Hannity's former producer.

The ramifications of Shine's dismissal are huge for Fox. Shine was part of the problem that Roger Ailes left behind. He was also Sean Hannity's former executive producer and was involved in the accusations of sexual harassment against Hannity.

Being that Fox News has the market cornered on conservative cable news viewers, they will be able to coast for a bit, but the reality is that the sexual harassment scandal is slowly destroying the network. The Fox News that was a dominant ratings machine is collapsing.

The more immediate question is whether or not this will signal the end for Sean Hannity at Fox News? If the sexual harassment allegations are true, it is only a matter of time until the last remaining primetime host from 2016 is out.

Geez, that place is a friggin' sexual assaulter factory. Fox News - the place to go for conservative, religious, moral family values!
