I was kind of thinking in a science fiction sort of way. As we know it, if all of one sex died out, the other would be soon to follow, anyway. Maybe some mad scientist is sitting on the secret to human asexual reproduction or cloning that reverts back to infancy. We may never know...

Without men the whole world of women would be in menstrual synchrony and the world would self-destruct within the month.

I think in either scenario if the opposite sex never existed and what comprised humanity reproduced through spores (like in the movie Gremlins) or some other asexual means of reproduction, We would have an overpopulation issue on our hands for starters. Something closer to socialism and egalitarianism would be prevalent.



If the opposite sex all died out instantly, we wouldn't last another 100 years afterward.
