Blue Öyster Cult is another reason why the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a load o' crap. BOC began in 1967. I recently saw them live again (for the third time) and those mofos can still damn sure tear it up. Incredibly, long time member Eric Bloom turns 81 this month and founding member and lead guitarist Buck Dharma turns 78 December 1st.

This is a great number from their legendary Agents of Fortune album. I have no idea why this song wasn't released as a single. Oh well, what the hell do I know?  Come to think of it, I know this is a damn good song:

John Dawson Winter III, a/k/a Johnny Winter was a legendary albino blues guitarist from Beaumont, Texas, who was active from 1959 right up until he died in Switzerland in 2014. I had the good fortune to see him live at The House of Blues. Even though he had to be helped onto the stage and seated in a chair, he still had it. He collaborated for some time in the early 70s with remnants of The McCoys, including Rick Derringer. This is a great rocker from an album of the same name:
