The remaining Whites are slowly moving out or else often intermarrying with the next best 'ting - Asians. Just like Fashionista's family. Actually Fashionista would feel right at home because there are so many half breed families and children walking around.

I got back Monday from a business trip to China. I met up with some Canadian expats. The one that I had an immediate friendly connection with was a fellow Pegger. We drank Tsingtao until the bar closed talking any and all things Winnipeg. At no time do I realize how much this city is part of who I am as when I am away from her.



This city has it's problems, but the people that live here have a connection that I have not seen in any other city in the country. Once a Winnipegger always a Pegger.

I've been to Winnipeg. Worse potholes than the Czuk, more snow than Lake Louise and swarms of mosquitoes so fucking thick they black out the sun in the summer.



Hey, what's with all the short buildings downtown? Regina is less than 1/3 the size of Winnipeg and has more tall buildings downtown.
