1. I was born in Calgary, Alberta and went back to Taiwan when my mother and I were strong enough to travel.

2. I came to Canada for good when I was four and a half years old

3. I have tasted alcoholic beverages, but I have never felt tipsy in my life.

4. I love skating, both on ice and roller blades.

5. My father was very active in the Taiwanese democracy and localization movement under the dictatorship of Generalissimo Chiang Kai Shek, but he has become indifferent to politics in Canada and his native Taiwan.

14. Cooking, especially trying new recipes makes me happy.

15. I often wonder what my life had been like had we stayed in Taiwan.

16. Together with my husband, I have been to Eastern and Western Europe, South America and East Asia...Usually to see him when he travels for short term jobs, but also when we have travelled to see relatives in Taiwan and the Netherlands, where my husband's family is from.

17. I wear size zero jeans.

18. English is my third language.

19. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't grieve for my daughter I lost ten years ago.

20. I am biased, but Calgary is the most family friendly city I have ever been in.

21. My children attend the same school I did, even though it is hardly the same school anymore.

22 I have questioned the existence of our Lord at times in the past.

1. I was born in Hubei province, People's Republic of China.

2. We moved to the boom town of Shenzhen, across the border from Hong Kong  when I was a year old.
