It's not just the California Dems that are betraying the middle class. The California Republican Party recently released its regularly scheduled updates to the party platform, and, given the content of the changes, voters could be forgiven for mistaking it for the Democratic platform from a couple decades ago.

Among the proposed edits: dropping language in favor of traditional marriage and protections for religious dissenters, eliminating the plank recognizing conception as the beginning of human life, and completely nixing prior support for election integrity measures.

The section on education does not mention anything about the content taught to children, despite curriculum issues being at the heart of grassroots clashes both locally and statewide.

The proposed changes also drop the entire section on election integrity, which included support for voter ID at the ballot box, along with proof of citizenship upon registration and a chain of custody procedure for ballots.

There are other revisions, some apparently for space and clarity, and some issue items have been added in response to rising problems, like a new separate plank on homelessness. But even these new sections suffer from a lack of fortitude; the homelessness section says nothing about the encampments and open drug abuse that are destroying California's cities and stresses "job training and placement" and addiction services rather than law enforcement.

hile the party is likely to cite concerns about electability of a more conservative platform in a blue state, the reality is that many of the cultural positions that Republicans seem afraid to adopt are popular even among moderates and Democrats. It's true that abortion does appear to be hurting the GOP electorally in some states. But an overwhelming majority of Democrats support voter ID, concerns about sexual content in schools are often shared by independent or even left-leaning voters, and just about everyone in California has noticed the increase in crime, disorder, and homelessness in urban environments.

Honest Democrat admits a decade-old 'big mistake' as California battles organized retail theft: 'Enough is enough!'

A California Democratic lawmaker is expressing regret for supporting a law that ultimately made it more difficult to prosecute theft and drug crimes.

San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa supported Proposition 47, a 2014 ballot referendum that downgraded several nonviolent felony crimes. The referendum — which passed with nearly 60% approval — made shoplifting, grand theft, receiving stolen property, forgery, fraud, and writing a bad check a misdemeanor crime if the value of the stolen or fraudulent amount is less than $950.

On Tuesday, Canepa declared his support for Prop 47 a "mistake."

"I thought it was a good idea at the time because I thought [that] we need to give people an opportunity, we need to give people a chance," Canepa said, according to KPIX-TV.

"I made a mistake, it was a big mistake, and you have to acknowledge your mistake," he admitted. "By doing this, what we've done is we're letting people take thousands and thousands of dollars. And why should people be subjugated?"

In 2022 alone, retail theft cost U.S. businesses nearly $100 billion in lost revenue. In San Mateo specifically, shoplifting last year spiked "60% higher than the pre-pandemic average," KGO-TV reported.

A good look at the massive corruption by Democrats in San Francisco.  Just since the latest court radical leftist mayor came in at least 6 members of the city government have been arrested for corruption.  There is a lot more and this guy gives the details.

SF is dysfunctional.

You will notice it took the feds to expose the Democrat corruption because the local Democrats and the state Democrats refuse to enforce corruption laws on fellow Democrat elites.  This same shit happens in L.A. where the Republican sheriff started enforcing laws against corrupt Democrats but the next election billions of dollars from big Dem donors targeted him so he lost.  Everyone knows if you cross corrupt Dems and expose their corruption then your career gets ended.

Leftist commentator Ana Kasparian of The Young Turks described California as 'a shit show under" the leadership of Golden State Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat.

"California is without question a shit show show under Newsom. But I guess propping up proven failures is what the Democratic party excels at these days," Kasparian opined in a post on X.

That state is frickin crazy. Aint no wonder all the sane folks are moving to Florida and Texas.

The California State Assembly passed a bill on Friday that is set to require judges involved in child custody cases to consider whether a parent has supported a child's perceived "gender transition" by making "gender affirmation" an integral part of the child's "health, safety, and welfare" under state law.

It is amazing how blacks make up 13% of the population yet are between 70% to 80% of these smash and grab gangs.  Blacks massively disproportionately commit crimes yet leftists ask why blacks are over represented in prisons.  The answer is simple; they commit more crimes.

I watch hunting videos from time to time and would like to see these niggers jump when shot just like deer do when they're shot. Macy's would have to build a cooler at the back of the store tho for Dead Nigger Storage.

A recent article from Newsmax reports that San Francisco is now topping the U.S. in plunging home values.

The article states: "About one in eight (12.3%) homes that sold in San Francisco during the three months ending July 31 was purchased for less than the seller paid for it, up from 5% a year earlier. That's a higher share than any other major U.S. metro and is quadruple the national rate (3%)."

I am hoping to see a full blowing housing crash.  That way I can pick up a few more units.

Fast-food companies pull California referendum, agree to $20 minimum wage

Fast-food companies that spent millions of dollars to defeat a worker-protections law agreed over the weekend to pull their referendum from the November 2024 ballot in a move that will give employees a $20-an-hour minimum wage.

The California Legislature has until Thursday to approve the agreement, which would avoid a costly battle with labor unions.

The move, cheered by fast-food cooks, cashiers and baristas, will result in a new set of amendments to Assembly Bill 1228 and pave the way for the creation of a fast-food council, first approved last year in Assembly Bill 257, also known as the FAST Recovery Act.

The council would establish minimum standards on wages and make recommendations on working hours to ensure the health, safety and welfare of workers are developed with proper oversight. It also would have the power to raise the fast food minimum wage to as much as $22 an hour.
