Leftists have gone full on communist and declare landlords are all wealthy big corporations who can just pay for them.  In reality most landlords are mom & pops who own two or more homes or inherited a home after a parent passed away.  In short, the communists in L.A. just want the mom and pops to all go out of business.  They know this but don't care.
