Rideau Lakes OPP were called to a long-term care facility on Tuesday after https://thenectarine.ca/news/bingo-game-seating-dispute-at-ontario-old-age-home-sparks-elderly-woman-melee/">an argument between two elderly women during a game of Bingo turned into a massive brawl.

Police say the incident happened at around 1PM when a "physical dispute" began between a 79-year-old woman and an 86-year-old woman over seating arrangements.

The dispute soon turned into an argument and from there, other seniors in the room joined in. Soon, there was a full-blown brawl.

"It was certainly an unusual call for us," Leeds County OPP spokesperson Const. Sandra Barr said.

Luckily, despite the number of people involved, there were no serious injuries and things had calmed down when the police arrived. No charges were laid.

The OPP do not know if the bingo game ended up going on as planned.

Old age homes need to start hiring bouncers. Instead of working for drinks, they get knitted mittens instead.

Any bitch sits in my bingo seat gets three seconds to move her ass, or I move it for her.
