I always drive SUV's myself. My city has potholes bigger than that. ;)

The good thing is that the japanese make cars that perform well in arctic conditions. Renault, Peugeot, Fiat, Citroen etc. do not make good cars.

I´ve heard heard so many stories about french cars splitting the cylinder heads.

Some models, yes. Some of my friends have it and their Skodas seem to be working flawlessly.

I think that Skoda has improved much in recent years.
