NO!!! I've seen bad stuff happen when cheap liquor gets involved lol. Them aint spirits they drinking, its demons! lol, and then they dont remember flipping shit the next day lol.

Which is a pain at the counter...but what can you do?



I bought a bottle last week for $45...I thought it was a bargain...but its bleh.



I was scrutinising the shelves a while back and a woman and husband approached and examined the whiskies. She was apparently buying a gift for her husband and he loves whisky. She looked at the prices and gasped. "$50 for a bottle of whisky!! That's outrageous!!"



Not being one to let an opportunity to slip by I said "Er, no. That's the cheap shelves. The expensive shelves are in that locked display cabinet."



He ended up with a Spey River for $45.

I'm seeing more and more weird shit like that in our local beer stores.  It wasn't that long ago when the selection was relatively boring, but that was also when the government had mega control over anything liquor related.



Our laws are ALMOST up to the standards now, that the rest of the Western world already enjoyed in 1983.

Not here. But we have massive booze supermarkets.

Our private beer stores can be nice, and our government stores are catching up also.  In this Province anyhow, as liquor is mainly regulated on a Provincial level.

American "liquor stores" can be pretty dumpy compared to ours, but then again their booze is half the price.



Of course, it was nice to be able to buy beer/wine down there at almost any convenience store, until 02:00, in most States that I've traveled through.
