I've heard of this, but I've also heard of unicorns
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Previous job (where I worked for 12 years): quarterly week off, paid, + 4 weeks vacation, paid, + 10 sick days annually, paid, + 10 statutory holidays, paid.

Staff turnover was low.
Aimin\' to misbehave.

I get five weeks av. I'm paid by the mile, so no paid sick days. We have short term and long term paid disability though if someone is truly sick. Non unionized jobs at CP get paid sick days without a doctor's note.

And dont get me started on benefits, I've never had benefits lol.

Man, if I had 4 weeks off out of the year, SO much would get done lol. AND I would go places if I had the money.

Going for beer and bluegrass tonight, gonna sing along with this one when they play it lol. Rabbit In the Log by Bill Monroe....

There's a rabbit in the log and I ain't got my dog

How will I get him I know

I'll get me a briar and I'll twist it in his hair

That's the way I'll get him I know

I know (I know) I know (I know)

That's the way I'll get him I know

I'll get me a briar and I'll twist it in his hair

That's the way I'll get him I know

I'll build me a fire and I'll cook that old hare

Roast him in the flames good and brown

Have a feast here tonight while the moon's shinin' bright

And find me a place to lie down

To lie down (to lie down) to lie down (to lie down)

Find me a place to lie down

Have a feast here tonight while the moon's shinin' bright

And find me a place to lie down

I'm going down that track got my coat on my back

Soles on my shoes nearly gone

Just a ways ahead there's an old farmer's shed

That's where I'll rest my weary bones

Weary bones (weary bones) weary bones (weary bones)

Well that's where I'll rest my weary bones

Just a little ways ahead there's an old farmer's shed

That's where I'll rest my weary bones

Didn't you say you are limited to certain number of kilometres or miles each month?

Once you max them out you are off until the end of the month.

I saw the movie 1984 last night, not entirely what I expected, and at the same time it was. Wanna read the book now.

Because of all we've seen, because of all we've said, we are the dead...

It was once regarded as science fiction.

Now it seems like a documentary. Orwell was a visionary. The house he lived in is in Portobello Road, London, and every time I walk past I feel a sense of awe that such a genius lived just a few metres over a small fence.

I get seven and a half to nine months off every year, depending if it's a late freeze up and early thaw. I am an independent wellsite supervisor contractor. The rest of the year I am on my farm doing what I actually enjoy doing.

We're allowed 3800 miles per month. Once we reach that we are out of service until the first day of the next month. I used to go hard when I was young and get the last week of the month off. Now it takes me the whole month to make my miles. I book 24 hours rest after every trip.

See, if you were Freud, you be pulling 24/7 shifts, because driving a train is easy as.
