I have a notion to bake a cake for the next birthday in my family.

There was a rum cake made last night for a B-day party we are going to tomorrow. Love her rum cake. We are also taking an onion dip with us as well. I will be caramelizing onions this morning for the dip. Going to be tasty. No, not taking any cookies to this party.....LOL

My son turns 21 this year.



The lil turd pulled a slick one on me last night. Said his gf was locked out of her parents house, that they went to see her grandma out of town that was in the hospital. He swore he wasnt lying. I even said "why not drive down there and get a key", but he kept coming up with excuses, and acted like she would have to sleep in her car. So I finally gave in, and said this one time, and that she had to sleep on the couch. I wake up early, and I hear his alarm going off 15 minutes before mine usually does. Was silent before, then I hear the tv, so Im guessing hes gonna try saying they were up all night watching tv, cause she was in the bed with him. I aint stupid. Fucker. Never again. We're having a talk later.

The alcohol cooks off Fash lol. Leaves a lil taste. At least thats what I always knew with cooking, that alcohol added gets cooked off.

No, the cookies pack a much bigger punch than the rum cake ever could. I don't think the crowd at the party will truly appreciate them....LOLOLOL

Blazor is right, the alcohol cooks out of the cake but there is a taste of rum left.
