I have also given up on hope Canada because I see no real change no matter who gets elected. That's how our power system is working of late

That said, I'll stay here because it's my country and where we made most of our money overall and don't have to work now

Possibility of US, but I doubt we will do that again. I'm Canadian

Ain't no way I'm going to 3rd world it again now I don't have to... we only did that temporarily following hot spots for  projects .. not a chance in hell we'd do that when we don't have to

We don't even vacation in any of them

I spent half my life living abroad and mostly in third world or rich theocracies. We thought about retiring abroad, but I wanted to farm when I retired. The type of farm I wanted to buy only exists in Canada, US, and Argentina. I can work winters here as an independent wellsite consultant, so it was back to Saskatchewan.

I hate the direction this country is moving, but I aint going anywhere now. My son can easily get permanent residence in Australia. He might be wise to consider doing that. Even though I will miss my grand daughter.

Has your son and his girlfriend thought about moving to Australia?

I did an Honor Run, up to Lexington, to see Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee the other day. Lee Chapel was closed, but I got to see Stonewall. I flew my flag off of my Jeep up there and back, which was met with lots of BIG waves, thumbs up stretched way out, honks of approval, and lots of smiles.

Fly it high my friends!!!!

I know you have a kajillion klicks on it, but the body and interior appear to be in good shape. At least in that photo.

330,000 miles so far lol!

I take care of it! The hood has some clear coat failure, and I have a rusty fender (a design flaw), and on the interior my seat needs some R&R, but the rest of the interior is pretty good. I actually bought 2 brand new fenders, and been calling around about paint prices for those plus the hood. I'll install the fenders myself.

My Lord of the Rings theme is coming along lol. Got my custom tire cover on now.

Hobbits do love to eat! But a "little" cake is not enough for hungry Hobbits. Hobbit day celebrates Bilbo and Frodo's birthday on September 22nd. In the movie, its only Bilbo's, but in the book, it is both. Check out the size of this cake ...

That much food could feed a lot of hobbits.
