Do you smoke marijuana for recreation or medicinal purposes or both?



The reason I ask is because we used to have a poster here who would argue forever that most people smoke marijuana for medicinal purposes.

I cant speak for all, but for me, its both.



When I was a teen, I use to get bad Anxiety Attacks. One time I almost blacked out. I also use to be wound up WAY more than I am now. I use to talk like an auctioneer almost lol.... fast. I also have IBS, and Migraines.



I started tokin' when I was 18. First thing it did, was help my anxiety big time. Also my migraines! So for the most part I call it my stress med. When my IBS acts up, it helps big time with the nausea, and settles my tummy to a degree. Also, it helped slow me down back then, to a normal level.... and still I have more energy than normal folks lol.



So for me, those are my medical reasons. But I wont lie, I like it for recreational too.

I was never a chronic pot smoker. When I was younger I would combine a shared joint with beer or mixed drinks. I got wasted.



It's been a long time since I shared a dube with anybody.

I didn't celebrate yesterday. I smoked a bit of weed when I was a student at Ryerson. But, good booze is and has always been my preference.
