Damn good night last night jammin'!!!! Im gonna miss going there in a couple weeks.... might be doing a 2nd shift job.

Hoping to move to first shift on down the line, but at least Im getting my foot in the door.

Yes, I've been a Graphic Designer and Printer for a long time. Even did websites before going into the print field.
I've come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

I'd like to get back inta the graphics field actually.



but it's changed so much and what the customers want now certainly aint what they wanted 15-10 or even 5 years ago.



I'd need new gear, software, marketing plan etc.

It'd be a lotta investment for someting that would become obsolete within 5 years.



I once made $25 USD on a desktop publishing contract.



But now, they probably use Chat GPT or Ai, eh?

It has all changed so much. Most my customers that bring in print jobs, have it designed as if they were making a Facebook post  :laugh:  , as in its designed for web, not print.



My home setup is obsolete, but can still do stuff.



You got people who claim to be designers over seas, that will do this shit for cheap as fuck. But, you get what you pay for! I've seen the quality of that shit!

Yup, an hour each way, if there is no wrecks. This is 5 mins away lol. Of course, I'll give a 2 weeks notice. I have good work ethic  ac_dance

Not only did I get a job offer yesterday, I also got a gal's number last night  ac_dance  Though its "prolly" cause Im already in the Friend Zone  :laugh:  We shall see!
