Quote from: Blazor on November 23, 2024, 02:46:05 PMOh I know on the commitment lol. But Im honestly the same as you, don't really care about money, as long as I can live and be me. Even when I was lil, I told myself "I don't want to be rich", because I see what money does to people. Not everyone mind you, but most become snobbish assholes.

i have a few rich friends and they're fuckin miserable.... they have "all the things" and never get to enjoy em.... even when they're off, they can't really relax.... its like they've forgotten how.... i don't ever wanna be in that position.... i like the ability to appreciate every little thing i have....

Bingo my friend!!!!

People cant understand how Im always happy, always with energy, and look so young lol. I believe it all stems from the same.... being able to appreciate the little things. Rich folks cant seem to do that, instead they get their happy endorphins from buying things... which of course that feeling doesn't last long. I don't look to the future (unless Im planning good times), nor do I dwell in the past (unless Im recalling good times), instead I take things one day at a time. One of my favorite quotes came from the wise turtle in Kung Fu Panda..... "yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today... is the "present"... that is why it is a GIFT!". We are never granted tomorrow, best to live each day with happiness  :good:

It's going on in your country too.

Any suggestions about curing that condition?

The Bachelor Australia 2016: Keira Maguire's mother defended polygamist cult to A Current Affair

By Aja Styles

Updated August 9, 2016 — 10.39pmfirst published at 7.18pm

A Current Affair has dug up old footage of time spent with cult polygamist Alistah Laishkochav and his family, including then-cult wife and mother to this year's Bachelor contestant Keira, Michelle Maguire.

Laishkochav amassed nine wives and 63 children, dubbed 'The Seaside Sect', during the 1970s until 1993 when the cult fell apart because he became violent towards a couple of the women.

Private Sydney: Budget Bingle for Bachelor

Who is this Keira Maguire that looks so much like Lara Bingle? Why is she rocking the boat that is the fourth season of Australia's 'The Bachelor?' Andrew Hornery investigates.

"King Solomon had so many wives, 70 wives and 500 concubines. I'm not that greedy surely," he told A Current Affair in 1992. "I'm selfish when it comes to women. That's enough that I've got."

When asked if he would take more, he replied: "You never know."

In 1993, three wives packed up with their kids (one being Keira's mother) and left the other six behind, living together but without Laishkochav.

Maguire initially didn't tell Network Ten, responsible for The Bachelor, the extent of her family connections, but has since admitted the connection saying: "Alistah Laishkochav is not relevant to who I am nor does he define me."

In a statement to Fairfax Media on Monday, Maguire praised her mother and grandmother for raising her in "a loving, caring and compassionate household" in Brisbane.

"I had a wonderful childhood and I am extremely grateful to both my mother and grandmother for the upbringing which they provided me and my siblings," she said.

"Although I have since met and reunited with my family, I have never had a relationship with Alistah Laishkochav."

Maguire's half-brother Shem Baker told ACA that he "just wants Keira to be famous for who she is, not for where she comes from".

I oppose folks who simply procreate and not work and live off government money.

But I also oppose how the court system is stacked against Men, give the Women everything, and leave the Men with barely enough scraps to survive, and hardly any rights to their kids. If they don't pay, which most the time the Mom spends that money on herself, then the Dad goes to jail. They get to see some other douche raise their kid, while living a miserable life. And all that of course leads some Men to suicide. So you cant tell me Men risk nothing.

My Mom and Dad divorced when I was 1 year old, I only saw my Dad FOUR times until I was able to drive. I was raised by all females, I had no father figure. Yet, it still made me a Man, and wanted to be there for ALL of my Son's life.

Did raising your son give you stretch marks, haemorrhoids, varicose veins and put you at risk from dying, make your hair or teeth fall out?

Women don't leave good men so why do the women leave?

I have no sympathy what so ever for people who suicide..  I tried that a couple of times myself to get away from domestic violence.

Nah. I am one of those women who will not take shit from any man.

I have brought this up before and since my boy is here and I am smoking his weed I will post it again.

I support abortion. Gals should not be forced into being parents. They should be given three months to opt out any time for any reason or no reason. No guy and no court should be allowed to force a gal to be a parent.

Guys should also be given the same right to opt out. Three months to decide same as gals. If a gal decides to continue a pregnancy and a guy decides it aint for him, no court should be allowed to force a guy to be a parent.

Now I hope old Dove don't see this. She will rip me a new one.
