I was uncomfortable with the direction of the pandemic response from day one. I caught COVID early and recovered.  I did get quite sick, but I have had bad influenza in the past.

My fence sitting was more a response to the weak, sorry piss poor arguments from one side. I practically begged them for a cogent case against vaccines, mandates, etc. All I got were bitchute videos.

But, you got involved in the discussion and brought what was needed to the anti vax side; a real opposition argument to vaxxing. I appreciated that. It cemented my anti vax position.

As for me not getting jabbed, it was easy an easy choice. I work for myself and I could work from my condo when we hit full crazy with the jab mandates. I regret not my decision to remain jab free even though it cost me my annual golf pilgrimage to Florida. I have met some vaxxed people who regret their decision, but I have yet to meet anyone unvaxxed who regrets being mRNA free.

I was always leaning towards your side. I just got frustrated with your side's weak case, ie bitchute videos and memes. They should be used to aid your argument not used as an argument.

I look at both sides, but I don't see the point of deliberately playing devil's advocate. That is a trollish tactic that does not appeal to a nerd like me.

i have "my personal feelings" on every subject but i think every side deserves logical representation.... if i see unbalanced discourse, i'll jump in.... provided of course, theres a LOGICAL argument.... thats why you'll rarely see me saying anything "pro-liberal"....

Bitchute was one of the only stops in town at the time where info wasn't struck down for misinformation/disinformation ie youtube and FB.

"mostly true" or not, you can't rely solely on videos and memes.... you have to make a personal appeal in an argument.... if you only post videos and memes and just ONE of them is "misleading, wrong or fake", its a basis to discount ALL of them....

That was done as well. It often fell on deaf ears because it couldn't be corroborated on YouTube and Facebook...

i believe that the crux of the argument should be finding the objective truth.... this isn't done by flooding the zone with "mostly true" videos and memes.... this is achieved by rational conversation and civil discourse.... i'll admit its easy to just yell at retarded bitches.... but it doesn't cure retardation....

Presenting people a slew of sources not on the St Fauci's good list was never going to go well because of inherit platform biases and a refusal to ingest and mull over alternative info.

you can use a meme or a video to express a complex thought or give nuance to an otherwise abstract point but ultimately you need to dissect their argument while reinforcing yours.... no one human is "the lone arbiter of truth".... truth has to be found collectively.... otherwise its lost....
