Yikes!  I fucked my knee a couple years back.  I didn't need surgery or anything, but I did get a knee brace which helped a lot. Took almost a year for the fucker to heal up and I still feel twinges when thr weather gets damp.

Oh geez, that don't sound good.

Mine feels fine now for the most part, just no stability. They said if I didn't have surgery, I would develop arthritis in my knee within 5 years.

UR getting too old for dance clubs. I haven't been in a dance club since I was 25. However, Mom is 64 and still likes dancing.

That blows! I have to go in for surgery to repair a meniscus in a month. I'm told the surgery is pretty simple. Dont know about the torn ACL tho.

Oh damn. They said they have to take ligament out of my hamstring (they said it grows back) to rebuild my ACL and meniscus.

I hope not! They said 2 weeks of crutches, followed by another month of a brace, followed by a month of PT.

Glad I dont have to deal with that! The Meniscus surgery is supposed to be a quick heal. It derailed our trip to Vegas last August. My knee got super blown up and the flap from the tear made it feel like I had a BB between my knee joint. I was eating Advil like Pez and the knee brace didnt help much. Once that flap from the tear settled down, it was much better but that took a month. I had an MRI last month which revealed the need for surgery.

I haven't taken any pain medicine. In fact I went out and shot a deer this morning, you would be proud lol.
