Whats going on? Why do you need surgery?

  I had a surgery canceled on me once. It was a PCNL. I had to have a tube inserted into my kidney through my back. It was miserable. I had already waited for nearly 3 months for them to organize it since it involved like 4 departments and was a 4 to 6 hour surgery.

I had everything handledand rides lined up and childcare arranged..chores and groceries done...i was ready for a few days in the hospital and they just pushed it back a few days. Threw everything out of order. I almost didnt have childcare as my friend who was handling that took almost a week off work just to help me and look after my kiddo.

And then i had to cancel the removal sugery because i got norovirus. So i was vomiting for two days with a tube sticking out of my back. I had to have that tube in for an extra week.  I could hardly hold down any of my medication so they gave me an anti nausea med to shove up my ass.

Good times lol.

 Its a massive pain in the ass when surgeries get moved around but like Shen said, at least you are not in Canada. Ive seen people come here to Michigan from Canada just to get their cancer treaments on time and their dialysis on time. Thats only people with money who get to do that.  Everyone else in Canada just has to wait and hope they dont die.

I completely tore my ACL and my Meniscus in my knee. They gotta take ligaments out of my hamstring to rebuild it.

Yeah they called earlier and gave me choices of when I wanted it lol. New date is January 2nd.

What is pepper soup?

Stuffed Pepper soup! Its like eating a delicious stuffed pepper, but in soup form lol. Its not "soupy" either, its thick. Its got burger, rice, beef broth, and a couple jars of Oliverio jarred peppers in sauce.

They gave me 2 choices, this Monday, or the day after Christmas. I cant next week cause I wont have any help, and I wasn't wanting to right after Christmas. So I asked what the next option was lol, Jan. 2nd lol, and I said I would take it because a lot of folks could help me if needed.

If I had gotten a 2nd deer, I might of done some sausage. I usually jus' save the backstraps as steaks, and grind up the rest as burger, with a lil cow fat added. My friend gave me some venison slim Jim's lol, with jalapeno and cheese in 'em, smoked, SO frickin' good.

Venison is too small for steaks. I usually use the muleys I shoot on the farm for stewing meat, sausages, jerky, and ground meat mixed with pork.

Steaks and roasts are more for elk and moose.

Oh geez. Yeah they wanted to do it the week of Thanksgiving, and I said that wasnt enough time for me to prepare (only a few days). They "might" try next week, but I doubt it if its already booked.

In Canada you might not get the surgery period. That country's health care system is so  broken that essential but not life threatening surgeries like yours are considered a luxury.
